Julie RicciardiDirector of Grace & Peace Singers

From an early age, Julie’s dad recalls hearing her singing “he’s the great shepherd” from her swing set and today, not much has changed. Born in Cincinnati and raised in Indiana, Julie’s mid-west and church roots are deep. While attending high school in Indiana she was led to Purdue University where her love of music was fostered through her membership in the women’s Glee Club, The Purduettes. Her early career teaching third and fifth graders led her back to Purdue where she ran the PMO Club for Purdue Musical Organizations. During the decade she was in West Lafayette, she sang with the Purdue Homemakers Extension Chorus, Voices of Eve, Trouble with Monday and was a board member for Opera de Lafayette for three years. As the Director of the PMO Club, her main responsibilities included chief fundraiser, marketing the Purdue Christmas Show, traveling and Directing of the Purduettes and All Campus Chorale. Most recently she was the Vice President of Advancement for William Peace University and now works with Saint Mary’s School next door as the Director of Development. Julie’s most important role is chief cheerleader for Saint Mary’s, her students both former and present and staying connected to family and friends.
