Central to the heart of Hillyer Memorial Christian Church is our passion to reach out to our brothers and sisters in need. Christ calls us to serve others, not just in words, but in deeds. Below are a sampling of the ministries that we are involved with:

Angel Tree Ministries – a ministry that provides Christmas gifts for children who have one or both parents incarcerated.
Appalachian Service Project – a ministry which does light home repair for impoverished families in the region of Appalachia.
Camp Agape – a ministry that sends underprivileged children to summer camp
CROP Walk – a ministry that provides funds to feed the hungry of our world
The Diaper Train – a ministry that provides diapers and baby wipes to families in Wake County.
Disaster Relief Mission Team – a ministry that sends teams into places where natural disasters have struck.
Global South Mission Team – a ministry that sends teams to work in the impoverished countries of Central America.
Meals on Wheels – a ministry to deliver hot meals to homebound persons.
